A total of nineteen of us hiked this area for the first time. We went as a smaller group due to the unknown factor of not hiking this particular canyon before. About an hour into the hike, we were stopped at a rockfall and couldn't proceed further. That didn't stop us, we hiked back out of the canyon and hiked (climbed) an adjacent canyon. Afterwards, a number of us stayed and camped over night near the base of the canyon where we had really good company, food and view of the mountains in the backdrop.
