Here are my 3 favorite hiking shoes (not boots) which include: 1) La Sportiva Wildcats 2) Merrell Moab GTX Ventilators & 3) Ahnu Kentfields. I use #1 on the vast majority of my hikes as they are breathable, comfortable, and fast drying. #2 is great for cold conditions including snow, ice, and cold rain. #3 are great for extremely wet environments, such as the tropics and streams/rivers. Note: I have flat, wide-feet and tend to over-pronate. These are not shoes I like to take into the mountains but they are still comfortable, well-made, and great for working outdoors. My major complaint with them were the outsoles which wore out extremely fast and lend to slippage. Everything was shot and edited in the same day. I'm just trying to get content out as fast as possible so I don't have excuses not to, such as wanting the videos to be as polished as possible. I shot this one on my Olympus E-PL5.
