How to Watermark Your Photos Using Lightroom - Here's how to create a text or graphic watermark that can be used as a preset and applied to your images when you export them. A watermark differs from a copyright metadata preset. The watermark appears across the front of your images when you export them. A copyright preset appears only in the metadata so you will not see it on top your photos. You can apply both to your images as you export them. It's a good way to protect your images and develop your brand. Lightroom gives you lots of options for styling your watermark included different fonts, sizes, colors and you can position it wherever you want. You have options for opacity and shadows as well. Using the Watermark Editor, you can also edit a previously created watermark, rename it, delete it and go back to the default settings.
