One of the highlights of this year's Veteran's Day was the awarding of hand-sewn quilts to military service veterans from an organization called Quilts of Valor. The mission of Quilts of Valor is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing quilts. The quilts are beautifully hand-crafted and stir the emotions of veterans who receive them.
