A new system for the clearance of commercial goods at the Frontier has today been implemented by Customs. 'ASYCUDA World' the automated system for customs data, is fully electronic and paperless, and has generally been well received. The change has been a long time coming, with Customs saying this is mainly due to the need to update technology and facilities to support the new model.
